As already announced yesterday – we haven’t just been lazing around in the sun and enjoying life these past weeks. Okay, to be fair, we’ve actually done plenty of that – and rightly so – but that’s not the whole story. In the meantime, we’ve also released Minimal Bay’s second full-length album. Under the title “Songs For An Empty Notebook,” you’ll find a fine selection of new lo-fi tracks that represent us.
And yes, once again, streaming numbers for this album are still very low on the usual platforms. But we’re not letting that get us down. As we’ve mentioned several times: Minimal Bay is our project, where we make the music we ourselves love to listen to. And that’s why we’ll continue: Even if the only reason we release albums and singles is so we can add them to our own playlists, that’s perfectly fine with us. Still, it wouldn’t be so bad if a few more lo-fi fans out there were to discover Minimal Bay. Let’s wait and see…
